One person was killed and two were badly burned in a small plane crash Saturday morning at the Falmouth Airpark, according to the Cape Cod Times.
The plane was a single-engine Cirrus SR22 that had taken off from Tweed New Haven airport.
The plane crashed shortly after 11 a.m. in a wooded area between two homes. Two people escaped the burning wreck but were badly burned. They were flown to Boston hospitals.
The FAA and local authorities are investigating the crash. No names have been released.
