As the fireworks went off in London to start the 2012 Summer Olympics, a blimp or something else unidentified floated across the screen. Many believe it was just a privately hired blimp that wasn’t lighted as not to interfere with the show. NBC has been using Goodyear blimps for aerial coverage of the games.
